Maybe someone who's actually been to that hemisphere will correct me,
but the two photos of the brilliant red critters (entitled "Red
Hilite" and "Red Dragon") both look to my eyes like some species of
Crocothemis. The latter shows amber basal hindwing patches further
reinforcing that suspicion.
