[Odonata-l] Some Bornean Ode pics

The problem with Crocothemis is that in photos of this sort there are
several similar red species, including Crocothemis servilia and Orthemis
chrysis. If you want to exult over them, admire them, respect them, then
take photographs. If you want to identify them, then net them.

Maybe someone who's actually been to that hemisphere will correct me,
but the two photos of the brilliant red critters (entitled "Red
Hilite" and "Red Dragon") both look to my eyes like some species of
Crocothemis. The latter shows amber basal hindwing patches further
reinforcing that suspicion.
