[Odonata-l] question about Jamaican Odonata

Hello, all.

Has anyone on this list visited Jamaica since 1960 to collect,
observe, and/or photograph Odonata there? At this time we are in the
dark about the status of two presumably rare forest species there -
Hypolestes clara and Diceratobasis macrogaster. Jamaica has fewer
endemic species than the other two large Greater Antillean islands,
Cuba and Hispaniola, but there might be more such species there than
we know. It does hold populations of Erythrodiplax bromeliicola,
another very poorly known species shared with Cuba. Both the
Diceratobasis and the Erythrodiplax breed in bromeliads, the
Hypolestes on forest streams. All may be restricted to the mountains.

Thanks for any information if you have it.
