Michel,

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest you have two different Aeschnids. I think all but the 4th photo are Aeschna canadensis. The 4th photo, the one with more cattail leaves, looks more like an Anax junius to me.

The size and shape of the prementum and eyes are what convince me.
