Hello all,
First of all, thank you to all of you who answered me directly or via the mailing list...
So, today, I learned something: The difference between exuviae of Libellulidae and Aeshnidae :-)
Here are the different result I obtain from you about the exuviae I showed you yesterday..:
Aeshna sitchensis: 1 vote
Aeshna juncea: 1 vote
Anax junius: 3 votes
Aeshna canadensis 2 votes
All thos odonatas can be found in Quebec and probably within the march where I took those pictures...
Also Sue Gregoire raised one interesting comment...: Maybe exuvia #4 is from another species of all others exuviae I photographied... And looking at my pictures I realized that exuvia #4 are not the same specimen than the 4 others...
She thinks that exuvia # 4 is Anax junius and the others one being Aeshna canadensis...
Any more comments about those exuviae... Do you still remain with your guess seeing other guesses???
Thank you very much for your great help!
Michel
