[Odonata-l] 2008 DSA Annual Meeting

Greetings,

This is a brief note to let everyone know that the 2008 Dragonfly Society of
the Americas Annual Meeting has been scheduled for 1-3 August in Bend,
Oregon. Mark your calendars! The meeting and presented papers will be on
Saturday, the 2nd. Friday and Sunday of that weekend will be field days
(Tanypteryx hageni, western Aeshnas, Somatochlora semicircularis, etc.), so
plan to arrive Thursday, 31 July.

We are still working out the details, which will be in the next issue of
Argia and also at
http://www.odonatacentral.org/index.php/PageAction.get/name/DSAAnnualMeeting
when they are known.

In addition to the Annual Meeting in Bend, we are planning a pre-meeting
trip to the John Day River (Gomphus lynnae, Erpetogomphus compositus, etc.)
and a post-meeting trip to more southerly areas of the Cascades
(Ophiogomphus morrisoni, Aeshna walkeri).
